Had the pleasure of visiting this STUNNING cafe in the Gold Coast over the weekend and was impressed through and through! They had all my fave breakfast items including one of the best southern fried chicken waffle I’ve ever had. Crispy chicken with perfectly done waffles, a refreshing slaw, and truffle mayo on the side *chefs kiss* their hash browns were also fried to golden perfection with the most satisfying crunch! Drinks didn’t miss either, the goodness green juice was the perfect detox juice and the tiramisu iced latte satisfied all my coffee and dessert cravings in one! The location is gorgeous, with panoramic riverfront views. It’s also dog friendly and very easy to park here

Amazing lakeside brunch spot! The view is stunning, and the food is even better. Loved the rich Prawn Linguine and the perfectly crispy Salt & Pepper Squid. Great menu variety, photogenic drinks, and easy parking. Highly recommend!

We had such a wonderful dining experience here! The food was absolutely delicious — every dish was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The staff were warm, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, perfect for both family dinners and special occasions. Highly recommend trying the signature dishes — they truly exceeded our expectations. We’ll definitely be coming back again!

Absolutely loved Double Barrel Kitchen & Bar in Benowa. Easily the best café on the Gold Coast — great vibe, friendly staff, and fantastic food. The coffee is spot on, and the menu has so many delicious options. Perfect place to chill, catch up with friends, or just enjoy a lazy brunch.

I like the vibe; the weather was beautiful today and, surrounded by a mix of modern architecture and natural scenery, we had a really good time. The food was tasty, and even the cucumbers were carefully deseeded to keep the salad bowl nice and dry. The calamari rings were also delicious, perfectly cooked and very tender

River view + Brunch = perfect Sunday Brunching by the water makes everything feel like a vacation. Everything was delicious and photogenic！ Definitely recommend grabbing a riverside seat early!
